To the single mothers out there, who have quit school and are working 3 jobs to make ends meet and put your kids through school; you are not alone.
To the parents who have lost their children, whether it be physically, emotionally, or spiritually; you are not alone.
To you teenagers, both male and female, who are struggling with an eating disorder; you are not alone.
To the young girls, teenage girls, and adult women who are abused, dehumanized, and objectified by men; you are not alone.
To the boys out there who have been sexually abused, rare though you may be; you are not alone.
To you children who have been abandoned by your parents because they loved themselves more than they loved you; you are not alone.
To those who harm themselves because they see themselves as something worth nothing more than the pain that they feel; you are not alone.
To the girls and boys in schools and other situations that leave you vulnerable to being bullied by other kids; you are not alone.
To you young adults who have no idea what the heck you want to do with your lives, even though you know that it’s something spectacular; you are not alone.
To the girl dealing with an unplanned pregnancy; you are not alone.
To the wife and mother who comes home every night to be abused and see her children abused by her husband; you are not alone.
To those of us who are fighting desperately for our lives against our own minds; we are not alone.
To those of us who are fighting on the front lines of this war called life, we are not alone.
